The EU AI Act (as amended by the 2026 Digital Omnibus) is the benchmark the sector is measured against. It can apply to your firm directly if you have EU clients or your AI output reaches the EU. Key EU dates:

AI transparency rules: live from 2 August 2026.
Standalone "high-risk" AI rules (for example recruitment, credit-scoring): from 2 December 2027.
Product-embedded high-risk AI rules: from 2 August 2028.

Is it safe to install?

Yes. AIMS runs as a lightweight agent that reads only which AI tools and processes are active. It records the tool name and category, never your files, messages or the content you type, and sends only that metadata to EU servers (Hetzner, Germany), GDPR-compliant.

What can AIMS see, and what can't it?

It sees which AI tools and processes are running on the device and classifies each against the EU AI Act. It cannot see your keystrokes, your screen, your documents, or the content of what you type into an AI tool.

Is this employee monitoring?

No. AIMS maps the AI tools, agents and processes running on company devices. It is not a keylogger or a screen recorder and it does not watch your staff. It is about AI visibility and governance, privacy-first.

How do I uninstall or delete my data?

You can remove the AIMS agent from any device at any time and request deletion of your data. Because AIMS is EU-hosted and GDPR-compliant, your files and content stay under your control.

Do I need technical or IT skills to use it?
